Entertainment (ver 3) by Phoenix ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Phoenix - Entertainment ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Tuning: Standard. Guitar 2 has capo on 8. These bars are tabbed relative to the capo. I thought most tabs had a lot of stuff that is good and fun to learn, but weren't very complete. So I tried to add some more guitar work. -------------- Intro -------------- On guitar, the riff is occasionally played one octave lower compared to the synth. Although, in some live performances, it seems both are played exactly the same. Just choose, I guess. Below, I tabbed both. Besides, there is rhythm guitar (guitar 2). * Synth e|-13-13-11-11-----13-13-11-11-----13-11-13-15-11~----| B|-------------13--------------13---------------------| G|----------------------------------------------------| D|----------------------------------------------------| A|----------------------------------------------------| E|----------------------------------------------------| e|--------------------------------------------------| B|-11-11-9-9-----11-11-9-9-----11-9-11-13-11-9------| G|-----------10------------10------------------10~--| D|--------------------------------------------------| A|--------------------------------------------------| E|--------------------------------------------------| e|-13-13-11-11-----13-13-11-11-----13-11-13-15-11~----| B|-------------13--------------13---------------------| G|----------------------------------------------------| D|----------------------------------------------------| A|----------------------------------------------------| E|----------------------------------------------------| e|----------11-13-16-18~--16-18-20~--16-18-20-18-16---------20-20-18-16------| B|----11-13------------------------------------------18-16--------------18-16| G|-13------------------------------------------------------------------------| D|---------------------------------------------------------------------------| A|---------------------------------------------------------------------------| E|---------------------------------------------------------------------------| * Guitar 1 e|----------------------------------------------| B|----------------------------------------------| G|-10-10-8-8-----10-10-8-8-----10-8-10-12-8~----| D|-----------10------------10-------------------| A|----------------------------------------------| E|----------------------------------------------| e|-----------------------------------------| B|-----------------------------------------| G|-----------------------------------------| D|-8-8-6-6----8-8-6-6----8-6-8-10-8-6------| A|---------8----------8---------------8~---| E|-----------------------------------------| e|----------------------------------------------| B|----------------------------------------------| G|-10-10-8-8-----10-10-8-8-----10-8-10-12-8~----| D|-----------10------------10-------------------| A|----------------------------------------------| E|----------------------------------------------| He doesn't play the last line. Although, when the synth for the first time reaches that 18th fret, guitar 1 plays: e|----------------------------------| B|----------------------------------| G|-5---5---5---5---6---6---6---6----| D|-6---6---6---6---6---6---6---6----| A|-3---3---3---3---4---4---4---4----| E|----------------------------------| * Guitar 2 (remember it's relative to capo on 8). Continues the chords played before, but changes it somewhere. From the vocal-less part between the lines until the end of 'I'll take the trouble that you have in mind', this chord: e|-8--8--8--8--8--8--8--8--8--8--8--8--8--8--8--8---| B|-11-11-11-11-11-11-11-11-11-11-11-11-11-11-11-11--| G|-10-10-10-10-10-10-10-10-10-10-10-10-10-10-10-10--| D|--------------------------------------------------| A|--------------------------------------------------| E|--------------------------------------------------| The previous chord then returns (and even continues into the chorus). * Guitar 2 plays nothing here. * Synth just before 'I'll take the trouble that you have in mind' sounds a bit like this: e|------------------------------------| B|----13------11----------------------| G|-13------13-----8-10------------13--| D|----------------------10-13---------| A|------------------------------------| E|------------------------------------| -------------- Chorus -------------- * Guitar 1.
